Power Module Products
HydroC™ Li-Ion Power Modules
The HydroC™ Power Module provides energy for deep-sea and shallow-water instrumentations. The innovative Li-Ion batteries give the highest performance at deep temperatures. For economical reasons Alkali Manganese batteries and Ni-Cd storage batteries are provided as well. Also compatible with the HydroC™ sensor family, this Power Module is best used for profiling / underwater / arctic applications.
- Lithium-Ion recharable batteries or NiMh / Akalaine batteries
- 14.8 Vdc, 41.4Ah rated ("Long-John" 500mm housing). 30Ah fo 6000m version. Others available on request
- Internal MicroController with protection, External smart Charger
- Working Temp. Range: -20°C … +60°C

AUV Power Modules
The AUV Power Module provides high-energy for AUV thrusters and instrumentations. We provide Lithium-Polymere rechargeable batteries.
- Lithium-Ion or Lithium-Polymere rechargeable batteries.
- Voltages up to 500V DC. Capacities up to 500+ Ah / 100+ kWh.
- Battery Management System with internal RS485 Communication bus.
- Safety Control on each cell / bypass each cell in case of failures.
- External RS485 / MODBUS / CAN-BUS communication to Host CPU.
- High-power Smart charger with RS485 bus and battery balancing.
- Full redundant features. Full safety.
- Complete customized options for Power / Size / Instrumentations.
XXL Power Modules
The XXL Power Module provides energy for deep-sea, shallow-water or AUV instrumentations. We provide Lithium cells (used since 25 years all over the world and are known as the worlds most reliable and most durable – longest lasting cells) or Lithium-Polymere / Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries. For economical reasons Alkali Manganese batteries and Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries are still provided.
With the SmartDI™ Controller / Datalogger as the heart, many different sensors, a power management and a data transmission unit a complete monitoring system is realized. Because the excellent characteristics, the SubSea Power Module is best used for off-shore (ODAS = Ocean Data Acquisition System) and underwater / artic applications or other applications under extreme conditio
