HydroC™/ CH4
Hydrocarbon & Methane Sensor

The HydroC™ is used to detect the presence of hydrocarbons / methane in gaseous or liquid form. CONTROS core application for this innovative system is monitoring pipelines, xmas trees and subsea installations as well as scientific research. HydroC™ sensors can also operate from ROV or AUV.

HydroC™/ CO2
Carbon dioxide sensor

The HydroC™/CO2 is used to detect the presence of carbon dioxide in gaseous or water. CONTROS core application for this innovative system is monitoring biological systems or the greenhouse effect, e.g. to fulfill the KYOTO PROTOCOL. This system can also operate from ROV or AUV as well.

Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons Fluorometer

Fluorometric methods are widely used in environmental monitoring, analytical chemistry, limnological and oceanographic biology. Oil spills for example at petrol stations or after accidents lead to widespread contamination of soil, surface water and groundwater with BTXE and PAH. Online fluorometers allow continuous measurements and non-destructive sampling in combination with good specificity and low detection limits. In order to meet most of the above mentioned requirements, the CONTROS’ HydroC™ / PAH is designed as a compact, versatile and light underwater unit capable to work on the water surface as well as down to 6000 meter of water depth mounted on ROV's and AUV's.

Mono Ethylene Glycol sensor

The Antifreeze Mono Ethylene Glycol is one of the most important fluids in the environment, being faced by the upcoming deep-water Oil + Gas companies. CONTROS’ HydroC™ / MEG is a unique underwater leakage sensor (Sniffer) solving the global problems of the in-situ measurements of Mono Ethylene Glycol. Applications include offshore pipeline inspections, leak detection, water & waste water treatment tasks and risk management solutions. The sensor can also operate from ROV or AUV.

    User-friedly, easy-to-use software package, based on .NET technology.

Contros™ DETECT
Windows Software

The Contros™ DETECT is an easy-to-use Windows© Software package and allows the display, recording and replay of data from HydroC™ Sensors (with and without internal Datalogger). The configuration of the graphical windows is easy due to the auto-scaling function - fits the graphic chart to the online data. The data is stored then into ASCII CVS text files for easy post-processing. A Polynomial fit to calibrate or correct the readings is also included. This comes with an easy Windows© installation program. (See Download page).

  • Based on innovative .NET technology (commonly installed on Win-XP©, Win-Vista© computers)
  • Runs under Windows© 7, Vista, XP and 2000. Support for Win98 and ME
