Carbon Dioxide, CO2
Although not the most powerful greenhouse gas, CO2 drives climate change due to the enormous volumes of this gas pumped into the atmosphere. Studies on the behavior, distribution and interaction of CO2 in the water column and surface waters depend on accurate in-situ measurements.
CONTROS’ HydroC™ CO2 is a unique underwater carbon dioxide sensor solving the global problems of the in-situ and online measurements of CO2, profiling on rosettes or long-term deployed on buoys and moorings. Applications include air-sea gas exchange, ocean acidification, climate studies, as well as studies for fish farming and aquaculture.
