Technical Sales Advisor

CONTROS Systems & Solutions GmbH is an award winning manufactureo subsea sensor systems with a reputation for quality, innovation and customer care. Due to the strategic and continued expansion of the company, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our existing sales team.

The role will entail promoting CONTROS product range of subsea sensor systems for greenhouse gases such as CH4, CO2, Mobile and Stationary Early Leak Detection Systems, along with a wide range of ancillary products and services, to potential and existing clients in new and existing geographical areas and market sectors.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this full time position will be based in the company’s Kiel head office but will involve a degree of foreign and domestic travel.

Responsibilities

  • Generating and converting sales leads
  • Identifying and exploring new markets and opportunities
  • Preparing quotations and proposals
  • Preparing and giving presentations
  • Attending and participating in trade shows and conferences
  • Accompanying technical staff on trials and demonstrations
  • Visiting existing and potential clients domestically and internationally
  • Maintaining accurate client records
  • Producing forecasts and reports for senior management

Requirements

  • Three years previous experience in a technical sales role or technical role
  • Knowledge of the offshore/marine industry
  • Educated to degree level
  • High standard of written and spoken English
  • Computer literate, familiar with MS Office applications
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, estimated 80 days per year
  • Knowledge of marine or Offshore O&G market an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • International sales experience an advantage
